Our Mission
ChinaTravelReady helps foreign tourists prepare for travel to China with policy-verified guides, interactive tools, and execution-level checklists. We are not an AI trip planner. We don't tell you where to go — we tell you how to get ready, whether you can enter, and whether your route actually works.
Why This Exists
In 2025, foreign visitor entries to China topped 30 million, with visa-free entries up nearly 50% year-over-year. Yet for the individual traveler, the pre-trip experience is still fragmented across Reddit threads, outdated blog posts, and generic AI answers that miss critical execution details.
We built ChinaTravelReady because the information gap isn't "what to see in China" — it's "how to pay, stay connected, navigate, and know if you can even enter without a visa."
How We Work
- Policy-Verified: Every visa and entry rule links to official government sources (National Immigration Administration, Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
- Traveler-Informed: Our content is shaped by real traveler experiences from Reddit r/travelchina, TripAdvisor, and community reports.
- Regularly Updated: We monitor policy changes and update content regularly. Every page shows its last-updated date.
- Transparent Monetization: We earn through one optional Trip Pass and clearly-labelled affiliate links (eSIM, VPN, bookings). We never accept payment for rankings or recommendations.
What We Are NOT
- ❌ Not an AI chatbot or generative trip planner
- ❌ Not legal advice (always verify with your airline and Chinese embassy)
- ❌ Not a travel agency — we don't sell tours directly
- ❌ Not affiliated with the Chinese government
Disclaimer
